
Mischa Kaplan is the new Director, People and Culture at Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Mischa started the role in August 2021.
Mischa is responsible for setting a national HR strategy for CF Canada and supporting the executive team and staff with leading edge HR initiatives. Mischa brings to CF a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, a track record building innovative HR programs and a well referenced ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals. Mischa’s last role was the Director, Strategy, People and Projects at Ottawa Tourism, serving as part of the senior management team as the organization’s first ever HR lead. Mischa was previously the President and a co-owner of Rainbow Foods, a wellness food company, where he took a lead developing people and culture. Mischa is a part time professor at the School of Business at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology. Mischa holds an MSc, CHRL and CPHR and sits on the Board of Directors for the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation and Ottawa Board of Trade. Click here to see Mischa’s LinkedIn profile.
