Michael is the new Vice President of Finance & Technology at Fred Victor, a $30M social services organization providing affordable housing services, mental health and addition services and job training to homeless in Toronto. Michael started the role in March 2018. Prior to joining Fred Victor, Michael had a long career as a finance and operations leader in the insurance industry. He proved himself to be a leader, capable of being the finance and technology lead, an individual who could support the CEO in this growing and complex organization. Michael came to the opportunity with a long history of volunteering on a number of Boards, including Acclaim Health (where he is currently Chair), paving the way for a final career in the not for profit sector. Michael is the type of person who is always challenging himself and the people around him. He strives for excellence and is oriented toward strategic, big picture thinking while respecting the value of detailed internal controls. Michael is all about service and support and drives the team to be customer and partner focused.
