Kyle joins Next Canada in April 2019, as their new Chief Development Officer, bringing with him a long-standing career in fundraising. Kyle started his career at the University of Toronto and after 25 years left his role as Executive Director, Corporate and Foundation Relations to become the National VP of Corporate Development at the Heart & Stroke Foundation. In 2015 he joined the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research, where he served as President and Chef Operating Officer. Kyle has a track-record of building significant corporate partnerships with many Fortune 500 Canadian companies, as well as securing transformative gifts from individual donors. Kyle works closely with Joe Canavan, NEXT Canada’s CEO as well as the Next Canada Board of Directors to develop a strategic fundraising plan and a sustainable philanthropy program in a fast-paced entrepreneurial organization.
