Jeni Piepgrass, Director of Development, Windmill Microlending

Jeni joined Windmill Microlending as their new National Director of Development. Jeni started the role in January 2018. Jeni has the exciting opportunity to build Windmill Microlending’s national fundraising program from the ground up. Windmill Microlending provides loans to immigrants and refugees to help them become certified in their home country field of expertise. Jeni has a long history of fundraising in the charity sector and was most recently the campaign lead for a new building for the National Music Centre in Calgary. She and the team, at National Music Centre, were successful in raising over $135M in Calgary and the rest of Canada. Jeni is now taking her strong fundraising skills, including major gift fundraising, to help Windmill Microlending meet some very aggressive targets. Everyone was excited to have Jeni onboard. She brings an interest in the Canadian immigration system, through her previous volunteer work, and a warm and compassionate approach to helping people get the most out of their Canadian experience both for themselves and their children. Click here to view Jeni’s LinkedIn profile.
