Alex has joined Upper Canada College in September 2019, as their Manager of Research & Prospect Management. Alex was in charge of research at Havergal College. He was hired by the former Executive Director of Advancement to support their campaign. While Alex had not worked in a fundraising environment prior to Havergal, he stepped in and quickly learned the business of research and started adding value right away. His Masters of Library and Information Science helped him get up to speed quickly. He was described as highly creative in his approach to donor research and prospect identification. Alex not only joined the advancement team but joined many of Havergal’s extracurricular activities, including coaching the girl’s baseball team. He became an integral and valued part of the community. Known for being an overall consistently positive force, people described Alex as the most positive and kind person they had ever met. UCC is excited to have such a positive force on their team.
